A week has passed so let's give this a try…

Can you guess which bullet point refers to which movie?

I Saw the TV Glow

Directed by Jane Schoenbrun

Nowhere Special

Directed Uberto Pasolini

IF

Directed by John Krasinski

  • But, seriously, was I Don Draper?

  • Unperfect days leading somewhere incredibly special

  • 2 Dying Parents?!

  • I feel seen!!!

  • I used to believe a writing background was best for directing, after further deliberation I believe it to now be photography.

  • 3.5/4 Stars

  • There’s a broken heart. No literally, there's a broken heart on his actual shirt. While he’s dying. (Cry now)

  • I haven’t cried this hard during end credits since Andy passed along his toys.

  • The pandemic, the binge watching, one after another “continue watching?” Dark days.

  • James Norton is terrific

  • Cue Crying! MORE CRYING!!!!

  • It’s not me right? Narratively speaking, this film makes 0 sense…?

  • Very similar to the Beast in themes of inaction, in a lot actually

  • This score is nauseating, manipulative, pseudo-whimsy trash

  • Did I just enjoy a thoroughly Gen Z movie?

  • This film is giving me little to believe in

  • But in 2020, I really was Don Draper… right?

  • 1.5/4 Stars

    • This has the atmosphere of Perfect Days with less ass cheeks

  • No laughs little purpose

  • Jane Flannery Schoenbrun is a they to be reckoned with. Dope visual storytelling.

  • Films usually fall short in capturing the awe in ordinary, this film does it wonderfully

  • There's a purple IF, his name is blue. Where's the Meryl Streep meme about florals for spring?

  • Was living life, on the couch, useless, but as Don Draper better than this existence?

  • Alex G! My runner my runner my man!

  • Like all parents, he wants to protect his child from learning about loss. And like all parents, he discovers that is impossible. A tender thesis

  • 3.5/4 Stars

  • I mean, children will at least enjoy these images. God, it’s unfunny for adults

  • 34 candles, the blanket, the look on the new mother’s face, the little boy…

  • OH LOOK! It’s Ryan Reynolds playing himself again!

  • 8.5 out of 12 possible stars…

  • Buffy, the pink vampire slayer of the opaque. No?

  • He found a home :)

  • I feel seen!!!

  • We’re all Pete Campbell
