The cinema! With the state of American healthcare, it’s my favorite form of therapy! But it’s more than that. It’s that glorious escape, where the troubles of healthcare, bills, and the rejection letters dissolve like sugar in tea. The lights dim, time bends, and the audience becomes one. It doesn’t matter what’s in your bank account or how many holes are in your socks.

That’s the beauty, the movies are for everyone. The working-class art form! Wendy Lee doesn’t have the money for Broadway or a box seat at the opera (maybe if you guys buy some books :), but Wendy Lee can always go to the movies.

So welcome to The Wendy Lee Report – or WLR for short. Here, I’ll be sharing my almost weekly moviegoing adventures. I’ll tell you all about the good ones I’ve seen, the great ones, and of course, maybe most importantly, I’ll steer you clear of the stinkers, to save that 10.50 so you can spend it on my book!
